Legal High - Nutmeg «:|:» Concorde

The story begins, I really wanted to find some weed, but there was none to be found. So, I went to Erowid and Google to research legal highs very thoroughly, and found some solutions. Basically, the only ones that I have found to work well are DXM (poor man's PCP, found in cough syrup, which I haven't tried for various reasons, but seen in action), and Nutmeg. Nutmeg, in my opinion, is the best of these legal highs, because it is all natural, and it's effects aren't too...(read more)

Linux How To: Make a custom grub splash image «:|:» jent
Making a grub splash screen ( or background if you will ) for your Linux system is a lot easier than it may appear at first. Using some simple tools in gimp we can easily convert just about any image into the format and specifications necessary to be used as the splash screen for grub when you turn on your computer. I have broken down this process into simple steps, and at the end offer you a few splash screens I have made in the past. Please take not that this was all...(read more)

A People's Guide to High Definition «:|:» spank
Our modern High Definition TV has its roots in television technologies dating back over 70 years. Prior to the Marconi EMI system of 1936 the first experimental systems had as few as 12 transmitted lines. When the marketed versions of television reached the masses they were advertised as High Definition Pictures. By todays standards it would't even be comparable to standard over air television. Most of United States receives a standard digital HD signal over the air in...(read more)

The Legend Of Zelda - Twilight Princess Review «:|:» jent
Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is the next installment of the Zelda timeline. Luckily this game is available on both the wii and gamecube, so it should be open for many many people to get. The game offers better graphics, more detailed tool use, and in my opinion more fun, than any previous Zelda game to date. Even though this is a major launch title for the wii, it was originally developed and designed for the cube. Because of that game cube owners get the same great...(read more)

Dec. 06.

Just like the last news on the homepage, been a while. But that does not mean that things have been slowing down. We have the new soulbay game up and running, and we will be closing that soon for new updates. Look forward to a new soulbay game starting early in Janurary. Will include all new features, and lots more options for gameplay. We have also made lots of updates to the forums, you can read about them all right here. I have also gone through the rest of the website and tucked in some corners. Clean up some stuff, try to get it a bit more useful. The podcast should be starting back up here in a couple months, so I am getting ready for that as well. Keep tuned for more updates, with school calming down for some weeks I hope to really tidy everything up.

Been a while since I have had news worthy of the homepage. But we have made some massive changes to the den all at once. First the forums are on a new server, so even if the site is down you should still be able to access the forums. On top of that the forums now have a domain dedicated just to themselves. You can now visit the forums at www.bbdforum.com. In addition we have a new feature added on to the forums. This feature is called the "denOS". The denOS is a feature that is tied into your account here. It is a web based environment where you can have your files saved, your settings, a few community features like the bulletin board, and other things. You should give it a shot, it might be just the ticket if you find yourself working at a lot of different computers and are unable to have personal settings on them. If you have any questions about this please post a topic in the questions and suggestions board. You will have to just poke around and ask questions because I don't really have it documented yet.

We have said good bye to a BBD legacy. The BBD Counter Strike Source server is no longer running. Due to lack of funds and time we have decided to change the focus of the site slightly. This will allow us to put more time and effort into functions of the Den that people do use. With this change you will note that the forums have had a slight restructure. They have changed from being super gaming focused to being more technology in general focused with gaming as a sub field of technology. We are going to continue adding new features to the site, and we still plan to keep a somewhat gaming focus. For example we plan to continue to run our Armagetron Advanced Server. You can visit that page for downloading and instructions to connect to our server. If you have any suggestions for new features you would like on the site please post them in the Recommendations Board.

Well we have a new colour scheme, and have done some slight design changes....The forums also have a new fancy look. Although if you wish to use the previous theme/colours you can go into your control panel and change your theme selection from default to BigBudDen-Dark. We now have a section of articles written by select users. These articles will be more detailed than most post. And while only certain people can post new articles everyone can reply to them with there comments/thoughts. Just click "read more" at the end of the article blurb. Or visit the new board Articles. Since I moved a bunch of stuff around on the homepage I also archived a ton of news that was posted on the homepage. You can access older site news via the link at the bottom of the page. But like always the news posted here is rare and only about complete site wide changes. The news board on the forums is by far the best source for news. There has not been a lot of massive site news here lately but I ensure you the news forum has been active with lots of minor changes. Enjoy and make sure to let us know what you think of the new features and design. You can post any comments or suggestions you have about features or site/forum design in the Questions and Recommendations Board.
